We prepare for the KROK-3 exam throughout the entire period of study!
According to the Regulations on Internship, approved by the Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine No. 1254 dated 22.06.2021, the first stage of certification of interns is the Krok 3 licensing integrated exam, which is held at the end of the internship. The Krok 3 exam is a standardized form of control over the acquisition of competencies by an intern, defined by the internship program, and their assessment.
In accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine No. 1655 dated 13.09.2022 and the Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine No. 1519 dated 25.08.2023, the Krok 3 exams were launched in the academic year 2023-2024 in the specialty of internship training (as opposed to the previous practice of conducting a single Krok 3 exam for interns of all specialties).
The current criteria for “passing” the Krok 3 exam were approved by the Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine No. 1898 dated November 2, 2023.

The preparation of interns of all specialties for the Krok 3 integrated licensing exam lasts throughout the entire period of training and consists of several components that together form a unique holistic system and ensure a perfect result:
- theoretical training within the internship program in the relevant specialty;
- mastering practical skills regulated by the internship training program in the relevant specialty;
- reviewing test items from the test bases previously published by the Testing Board with teachers;
- review with the teachers of the test tasks of the examination booklets of previous years;
- self-preparation of interns using the Moodle distance learning system;
- consultations with teachers of related departments within their competence.
