The School is headed by a well-known scientist and clinician, Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Immunology with a course in Dermatovenereology, PhD, Professor, Dermatovenereologist Yuliia OVCHARENKO – President of the Ukrainian Hair Research Society (UHRS), Treasurer of the International Trichoscopy Society (ITS), Vice President of the Eastern Europe and Asia Hair Research Society (EEAHRS), Advisor to the Membership Committee of the European Hair Research Society (EHRS), Director of the Institute of Trichology, co-founder of the Alopecia School patient organization in Ukraine, author of more than 100 scientific papers on dermatovenereology and trichology, 5 patents of Ukraine; co-author of the national clinical guidelines “Pharmacotherapy of Focal Alopecia”, “Modern Methods of Diagnosis of Alopecia areata”, “Management of Patients with Focal Alopecia”; author and co-author of 7 books (1st and 2nd editions of Trichology, Injection Methods in Cosmetology, Age and Gender Cosmetology, Trichopathy in Children, translated edition of Atlas of Trichoscopy, Psychotrichology) with a total experience of scientific, pedagogical and clinical activities of more than 25 years.
