The educational activities of the School provide fundamental interdisciplinary theoretical training of students based on the latest data of scientific research and evidence-based medicine with the wide integration of modern simulation training technologies on the basis of the best simulation centre in the country and in real clinical practice at the clinical bases of the School of Medicine. Practical skills training in real clinical practice is a mandatory component of the educational process, which is implemented on the basis of the Kharkiv Clinical Hospital for Railway Transport No. 2 of the Health Care Centre Branch of the Joint Stock Company ‘Ukrzaliznytsia’ – a modern multidisciplinary surgical hospital with a wide range of orthopedic and traumatological interventions, a high level of professional training of staff and a powerful material and technical base. Some of the educational activities are held at the leading national-scale scientific and clinical centre, the State Institution «Sitenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine».
