The School provides undergraduate training for students in the School’s speciality, participates in the training of interns, invites doctors to secondary medical specialization cycles, internships and numerous CPD events with the award of CPD points.
The educational activities of the School provide fundamental interdisciplinary theoretical training of students based on the latest research data and evidence-based medicine with the wide integration of modern simulation training technologies at the best simulation center in the country and in real clinical practice at the clinical bases of the School of Medicine.
The School is headed by a well-known scientist and clinician, Associate Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Immunology, PhD, Associate Professor, Pulmonologist, Phthisiologist Petro POTEIKO, author of 4 monographs, about 350 scientific articles in professional journals, more than 120 abstracts, 4 patents, 3 innovations, 12 textbooks, 15 methodological recommendations and manuals, organizer and participant of scientific and practical conferences, plenaries with a total experience of scientific, pedagogical and clinical activity of more than 40 years.
The educational activity of the school is provided by a powerful interdepartmental scientific and pedagogical team, which includes leading specialists of the country. Following the interdisciplinary approach to the organization of events in the field of postgraduate education of doctors of all specialties in the field of pulmonology, the training of students of individual educational events is carried out by scientific and pedagogical specialists of other departments of the School of Medicine within their competence.
