Karazin School of Pain Management and Scientific Excellence
The school provides training for students in the school’s field at the undergraduate level, participates in the training of interns, invites healthcare professionals to numerous CPD events with the award of CPD points.
The educational activities of the School provide fundamental interdisciplinary theoretical training of students based on the latest data of scientific research and evidence-based medicine with the wide integration of modern simulation training technologies at the best simulation centre in the country and in real clinical practice at the clinical sites of the School of Medicine. The clinical base of the School is the leading research and clinical institution in Ukraine – the State Institution “Sitenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine”.
The School is headed by a renowned scientist and clinician, Deputy Director for Research at the State Institution ‘Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology named after prof. Sitenko Institute of Spine and Joint Pathology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Professor of the Department of General Surgery, Anaesthesiology and Palliative Medicine, Doctor of Medicine, Full Professor, Neurologist Inha FEDOTOVA – author of more than 150 scientific publications, 8 patents, member of the International Brain Research Organisation, member of the North American Spine Society, member of the Specialised Academic Council of the DF 64.607.001 with a total experience of scientific, pedagogical and clinical work of more than 25 years.
The educational activity of the school is provided by a powerful interdepartmental scientific and pedagogical team, which includes leading specialists of the country. Following the interdisciplinary approach to the organisation of events in the field of postgraduate education of doctors of all specialties, the training of students of certain educational events is carried out by scientific and pedagogical specialists of other departments of the School of Medicine within their competence.
