The team of Karazin School of Emergency and Tactical Medicine encourages you to participate in the trainings. Developers and instructors of the course are certified by the National Association of Emergency Medicine Technicians (NAEMT), the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) and the American Colleague of Surgeons (ACS), and the training program corresponds with the international standards.
During the course participants will receive knowledge and master basic skills of first aid including the following:
- personal safety;
- recognizing critical external bleeding;
- stopping the bleeding with direct pressure on the wound;
- stopping the bleeding with wound packing;
- applying tourniquet to stop the bleed from extremities;
- applying pressure dressings.
After completing the course each participant will receive an official certificate.
